Aner, an outstanding soldier, was on vacation from the army and celebrated at the Nova Festival. He went to the party unarmed. When the massacre began, Aner went into a shelter where thirty people were hiding, and he tried to calm and assist them. At first, he placed himself at the entrance with a broken bottle to attack anyone who tried to enter. He then managed to prevent seven grenades from entering the shelter, throwing them back at the terrorists. He was killed by the eighth grenade. Aner left behind a legacy of uncompromising moral conviction, alongside his love for music and writing.
