Eyal Aharon

Eyal is a fifty-four-year-old police officer, a resident of Beit Kama, and an expert in hand-to-hand combat. On that day, he was alerted by his two sons who were hiding in a shelter in Re’im. He drove alone to rescue them, maneuvering for hours through a kibbutz filled with dozens of terrorists, many of whom had positioned themselves inside the house where his children were. After countless harrowing encounters, he eventually managed to reach his children and save them, along with dozens of other young people that were in the shelter that were also hiding, who were also hiding in the shelter, as well as others from another shelter in the kibbutz that had caught fire.
