From the day Irene agreed to go on a date with Netta, they were inseparable. Despite their young age, they knew they were meant for each other and were planning on getting married. On the day of the massacre, they were both in the bomb shelter. When the terrorists started throwing grenades inside, Netta jumped on a grenade, saving Irene’s life. He was twenty-two years old at the time of his death.
